Waupoos is a small hamlet in Eastern Ontario, Canada. It borders beuatiful lake Ontario and in the centre of Prince Edward County's cider and wine industry. It is located about 8 miles from Picton on County Road 8 and is packed with natural beauty and historical significance for American Colonists whoose loyalties to King George III of meant fleeing America during their war of independece from England across Lake Ontario to settle in the Waupoos region and the Lenght of lake Ontario to Cornwall at the mouth of the St. Lawrence river.
