Career

Long before his death in 2002, Imad Zahra started an independent newspaper in 1996.[3](Zahra’s Newspaper). [4]

Death

On July 12, 2002, Imad Abu Zahra was shot in the leg by Isreal Defense Forces (IDF). Zahra laid in the street for approximately 30 minutes because the gunfire continued. After this intense, long-lasting shooting, Zahra was finally shoved into a ambulance by his fellow journalist, Said Dahla. Soon after that, Imad Abu Zahra died from loss of blood.
