Titan Quest is a PC action role-playing game being developed by Iron Lore Entertainment. It is to be released worldwide by THQ on June 26 2006. [1]

Overview

Players will play the role of a hero and fight monsters in three ancient, mythological world settings including Greece/Sparta, Egypt and Silk Road/Asia. The game was conceived by Age of Empires co-creator Brian Sullivan and features rag-doll physics, full lighting effects, day-night cycles, an ancient world mythology (rather than typical fantasy worlds of goblins, orcs and the like), modern 3D graphics, unique monsters and treasures, fast gameplay, and an impressive world editor for players to rapidly create their own custom worlds, mods and quests.

The game has a unique loot system. Monsters can only drop items that they were using. After the player kills the monster, the player can then pick up the monster's items.

There are over a thousand pieces of unique and legendary equipment.

Other

The game is being developed for PCs running the Windows operating system, but runs identically on modern Intel-based Macintosh computers with dedicated graphics cards such as the MacBookPro and iMac that are running XP SP2 via Apple Bootcamp.

A demo was released through FilePlanet on May 10, 2006 Oh, baby, that demo is SWEET!
