:::: I will absolutely do it again if you do not reflect that you are not summarising the arguments but merely summarising *your* arguments. If you do not edit the conclusion box to reflect the entirety of the conclusion then I will edit it and you can report me and I will direct the admins to this discussion. You are positioning yourself as if you speak for everyone. You do not speak for everyone. Stop misrepresenting.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Hacker News, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. betafive 09:12, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am not editing your talk. You are positioning your summary as the de facto summary of events. If you wish to publish that then you should provide a summary of both sides of the argument. Otherwise, you are simply highlighting your own arguments as the accepted version of events.
Your individual talk statements are of no interest to me other than to make me consider my own viewpoints. I am just perturbed at the use of the summary.

I will absolutely do it again if you do not reflect that you are not summarising the arguments but merely summarising *your* arguments. If you do not edit the conclusion box to reflect the entirety of the conclusion then I will edit it and you can report me and I will direct the admins to this discussion. You are positioning yourself as if you speak for everyone. You do not speak for everyone. Stop misrepresenting.
