Mark Hennessy (born Mark Tom Hennessy) is the singer for the band Paw, from Lawrence, Kansas in the USA. He is a published poet.
Hennessy moved to Lawrence when he was 17 years old. He went to the University of Kansas, but dropped out. For the next ten years, he moved around Kansas and also resided in New York, where he was married and divorced, before he moved to Krakow in Poland where his brother lived.[citation needed]
He is a self-proclaimed "poetry freak". In 2005, he released a book of poetry called Cue the Bedlam (More Desperate With Longing Than Want of Air), which was published in December 2005 by Unholy Day Press.[1]
Hennessy is currently[when?] a Kansas resident, but married his girlfriend in North Carolina[when?] and fathered a child with her there. He currently[when?] teaches at the University of Kansas in Lawrence.[citation needed]
