Helen Ophelia Dubuois is a recurring character in Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh show, played by Yvette Nicole Brown. Helen was immediately introduced as a loud-voiced character and is known to order her employees, namely Josh; Helen does not particularly like Josh, but seems to be infatuated with Drake.

"Movie Job"

Helen Dubuois was introduced in the episode Movie Job as the manager of The Premiere, a movie theater. At the start of the episode, Helen is reluctant to give Josh a job, but does so anyway. Drake decides to get a job there as well, jealous of Josh's high wages. Helen immediately adores Drake and give him the role of "Assistant Manager", which angers Josh.

Josh then tries to boost sales of popcorn at the theater, in an attempt to impress Helen. However, the promotion fails–people are injured whilst searching for the coveted "golden balls" that are hidden in popcorn containers. Helen is angered when paramedics arrive, and orders "the person who came up with the 'brilliant' popcorn idea to report to my office right now". Josh is immediately worried that he will lose his job, so Drake decides to implicate himself. Helen is shocked, and is forced to fire Drake. Whilst looking at Josh, she tells him that only employees are allowed into her office (she seems to forget about Josh several times throughout the episode), and then "hires" him to fill the satffing gap Drake's dispensation created.

Trivia

Helen is played by Yvette Nicole Brown; however, in the character's second appearance (Little Diva), Helen was played by Frances Callier. However, all appearances of the character after Little Diva have been played by Brown.
