Khaled Fahmy Arabic: خالد فهمي is an Egyptian historian of modern Egypt and renowned expert in Middle East studies, author and scholar of social history topics of egypt during Mehmed Ali Pasha era.[1]
Fahmy served as associate professor of Middle Eastern and Islamic studies at New York University (NYU) before joining The American University in Cairo faculty as a professor of history.[2]
