Year 1937, “Northeast” was taken over by Japanese forces. Koo Ping On (Myolie Wu) and a brother-like Tin Hau Yi (Ron Ng) brought their sick mother to Nanjing in order to find Koo Maan Chuen (Lau Daan), who has the biggest rice “company” there, to stay at his place, yet they are segregated.

Various events go wrong and Nanjing loses control. On (Myolie) was shocked to find out Yi (Ron), whom she grew up since small with, was actually the son of the Japanese military officer, Chung Tin Ai (Sek Sau)! And she also discovers Yi (Ron), who she views as a fiancée, is actually in love with Tsang Yuet Fung (Leila Tong), who is the wife of her father.

Afterwards, Poon Sai Cheung (Sunny Chan), who helps the Japanese, “buys” On (Myolie), who doesn’t agree with it at all. In the end, she unexpectedly falls in love with this person whom she first hated with a passion and is a traitor…

War and Destiny is a new upcoming TVB series (Hong Kong). The series is scheduled to be released later in 2006. The story takes place during the World War II. The series was finished filming in late 2005.

TVB releases the series overseas first on July 10th, 2006. The release day in Hong Kong remains unknown. Many people suspect that TVB would probably airs it right before the Anniversary which happens to be in November.
