Lichess.org, stylized as lichess.org, is an Internet chess server created by Thibault Duplessis, a French programmer. Lichess is open source under the MIT license.
Features
Players can play live and correspondence chess, as well as several variants such as:
- "King of the Hill", where the goal is to bring the king to the center squares.
- Losing chess
- Atomic chess
- Three-check chess
Players can also analyze games using the Stockfish chess engine, and players can also play against Stockfish.
Lichess also has a tactics training feature, including checkmate, chess coordinate, and chess opening puzzles.
