JAMA (The Journal of the American Medical Association) Pediatrics is a monthly peer-reviewed medical journal published by the American Medical Association. It covers original clinical and basic research on all aspects of pediatrics. The journal was established in 1911 as the American Journal of Diseases of Children and renamed in the early 1990s as Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine. It was again renamed to its current title in January 2013. The current editor of JAMA Pediatrics is Frederick P. Rivara, MD, MPH, from Seattle, Washington. Dr. Rivera is the Seattle Children's Guild Endowed Chair in Pediatrics and Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington.
