Mobile service^[1] is – in line to ITU Radio Regulations – a radiocommunication service between mobile and land stations, or between mobile stations (CV).^[2]

The ITU Radio Regulations define this radiocommunication service as follows:
Mobile service

^ ITU, RR, article 1.24
^ Definitions identical to those contained in the Annex to the Constitution or the Annex to the Convention of the International Telecommunication Union (Geneva, 1992) are marked “(CS)” or “(CV)” respectively.
^ (R) – abbreviation to route flights (route)
^ (OR) – abbreviation to flights others than on routs (off-route)
