Who am I?

Hello! My name is Gecksu! As you might have guessed, Gecksu is not my real name, but rather one of the pseudonyms I use when writing online.

What do I do?

In meatspace (so-called "real life"), I am a final year B IT Student at the University of Pretoria. As part of my studies, I am in the process of completing various honours courses including:

Adaptive Hypermedia and Mark-up Languages
E-commerce
Data Mining
Forensics and Digital Investigations
Enterprise Architecture.

For our Adaptive Hypermedia and Mark-up Languages course - we have been encouraged to become active members of the Wikipedia community. As such, I am here to learn, be bold and contribute to the already massive encyclopedia known as Wikipedia.

Hobbies and Interests:

I also have a wide range of hobbies and interests which I like to share on popular blogging platforms such as Hubpages, Squidoo and EzineArticles. Some of these hobbies and interests include gaming, cricket, music, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, programming and game development. It is in these and other areas of interest that I would like to also contribute to Wikipedia.
