The Stranger Sensations sessions were recorded back in May in Brightons vintage analogue studio The Toy Rooms in Brighton & Hove on the south coast of England. Home to producers Pablo Clements and James Griffith (Psychonauts/Unkle/Toydrum) and Nick Cave’s favourite city studio – the EP was recorded with Oasis engineer Ben Thackeray at the controls. Jon Gray, behind records by Kooks, The Subways, The Coral, The Zutons and Editors, mixed the tracks. |

The band recently won MTV's Brand New Unsigned Winners 2015, beating hundreds of other unsigned artists to the win the prestigious title and recently filmed a live session at MTV Studios, broadcast across the MTV network.
Of Empires were featured in an article by Brighton's Local Paper along with James Bay and Anushka 3 acts poised to make it big outside the city in 2015.
As well as national and local press, the bands debut EP has received regular national airplay on 30 BBC radio stations across the country on the BBC Introducing network and the video for 'I Want You To Get Mad' was added to the MTV Rocks playlist in February broadcast daily on Sky 354 - Virgin 315 across the nation. It was recently announced that the band will be featured on Huw Stephens BBC Introducing show on Radio 1 on Wednesday 25th March.
