-What am i supposed to do when I tidy up an article on Richard Brindly to make it readable. Place comments on Talk and the OP just reverts it twice?
-He puts no comments on just reverts then I get a message to stop reverting and use the talk page ( which I did) or I will be blocked from editing.
-This is the kind of thing that stops people helping

-:In case you are still reading your talk page, I just wanted to answer your question. I saw your edit on [[Richard Brindley]] and it seemed a decent copy-edit. I don't really know enough about soccer to comment on the edit. However, it did not look like clear vandalism and the other editors certainly should have at least commented in their edit summaries about the reverts and responded to you on the talk page. This does look a lot like [[WP:OWN]]. Furthermore, you had not violated [[WP:3RR]]. You had reverted/edited only 3 times that I could spot, so the edit warring template was premature and quite rude given they had not responded on the talk page. At this point, I would reccommend moving on to a friendlier page. If you are not that type of person, maybe ask for help from an admin, or from other editors in the WikiProject to look over your edits and theirs.
-:Some note for future reference, I know a big glaring warning template is an unpleasant things to have on one's talk page, but please consider leaving it up at least while you are still discussing the issue. It gives some context. I went through the page history, but some may not. If you think the allegations are false, you can follow it with a not saying what you did do.
