Journal of Business Research is a monthly peer-reviewed academic journal covering all fields of business. The current editor-in-chief is Professor Arch G. Woodside (Boston College). The journal was established in 1973 and is published by Elsevier with the editorial aim of publishing articles that apply business research to real life business situations.[1]

Abstracting and indexing

The journal is abstracted and indexed in Scopus, and the Social Sciences Citation Index. According to the Journal Citation Reports, Journal of Business Research's impact factor for the year 2013 is 1.306, ranking it 107th out of 239 journals in the category "Business", and a five year impact factor of 2.341.[2]
