Wilmer is an unincorporated hamlet in the rural north of Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.^[1]

Wilmer is centered on the intersection of LA 10 and LA 1061. Although the surrounding area is hilly, Wilmer is a mere 64 feet above sea level.^[2]

Wilmer is the home of Louisiana businessperson, farmer and political activist Gayle Liuzza,^[3] Tangipahoa Council District 1 member of the Tangipahoa Republican Parish Executive Committee (RPEC).^[4]
