::Hi. It's because your username is the same as the name of the subject you are writing about. While it's fine to have a real name as your username, it implies that 1) you are writing the biography about yourself (even though you just said you are not Sreenanda Shankar) and 2) you have a conflict of interest. You have just stated you do have a conflict of interest - you need to declare that on your user page and I strongly advise that you do not write an article about a person you work for. I"ll leave information on your talk page about this User:Sreenanda Shankar. -- Missvain (talk) 17:32, 23 July 2015 (UTC)

Why I did what I did, and why your charges are false
First, the situation in Turkey has changed incredibly much in the last week, second, how is changing a link to a small paragraph to a link to a major article disruptive? The stuff in the article Spillover of the Syrian Civil War (most of which I WROTE thankyouverymuch) was unnecessary once the link to an article which already has the same information in greater detail and better presented is added. It is the duty of Wikipedians to improve articles, your reversion is the opposite of that. Ericl (talk) 15:35, 24 July 2015 (UTC)

Creation of Emma Swan article

Thank you for reviewing and creating Emma Swan. I just would like to know if there is any possibility to have my old sandbox back, since the Emma Swan article was created (moved) from a draft I wrote in my sandbox, and the revision history of the Emma Swan article is actually the history my sandbox.

Greetings! --LoЯd ۞pεth 19:26, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lord Opeth Hello and congratulations on a very well written article! Page moves leave behind redirects which I apologize for not cleaning up in your sandbox. I've removed the redirect resulting in an empty sandbox. However, if you want to wipe out the page history, you can place a db-u1 template on the page to ask for an admin to delete it, allowing you to start fresh. Alternately, you may consider beginning new articles in the "Draft:" namespace which is the preferred namespace for articles you intend to submit to AfC. Thanks! --Non-Dropframe talk 20:31, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, i see you declined my article for Caesar and Otto's Paranormal Halloween. I understand as im new to all of this. I didnt realize the first draft wasn't totally deleted. How do I go ahead and delete that and resubmit with my second draft attempt? SPAYDEDDOG (talk) 00:00, 20 July 2015 (UTC)SPAYDEDDOG[reply]

SPAYDEDDOG (talk) 00:00, 20 July 2015 (UTC) SPAYDEDDOG hi there, you can simply make edits to the original draft. After you're satisfied with the draft, simply click the "resubmit" button in the red decline box near the top of the page or add to the top of the page. --Non-Dropframe talk 10:04, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks for the comments and the suggestion to resubmit. I will probably wait awhile for that as the pagename could benefit from being more prevalent in the literature. Cheers Hugh gordon rock (talk) 09:05, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This software is cited by the official wiki of Samba project (see link in article) and aims to help people who want to sync their Samba servers among others. It is of public interest and is not in any way a commercial software. I created the article in order to add it to the Comparison_of_file_synchronization_software article Wikipedia which holds with links for each sync software. Is there any reason why this software cannot be added there ?

Regards, Orsiris de Jong.

Deajan (talk) 12:41, 20 July 2015 (UTC) Deajan, article subjects need to have their notability established through verifiable third-party sources. Primary sources like the one you mentioned aren't sufficient. Thanks! --Non-Dropframe talk 12:47, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Non-dropframe, I'm sorry to insist, but isn't the Samba wiki a verifiable third-party source ? Deajan 14:01, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Deajan, please review WP:VERIFY which explains in-depth the standards for verifiable sources. Also note that your sources need to demonstrate notability.

Can't agree with your assessment. 30 pages of references in Google. Published two books and a few dozen articles. Referenced in every book about Obama and Harold Washington. Frequent commentator on issues political and women's topics. Let me know your reasoning.

Marilyn katz (talk) 16:15, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Marilyn katz, please see Wikipedia:Citing sources for information on how to properly incorporate verifiable sources into your article. Let me know if I can be of any help on that. Also, please note that per WP:AUTO, "writing an autobiography on Wikipedia is strongly discouraged." --Non-Dropframe talk 16:27, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
WOuld love your help. Shall I shorten and de-narrate? And where do I put the citations? Or should they relate specifically to 'claims I make"Marilyn katz (talk) 16:40, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Marilyn katz, I suggest you begin by reading Wikipedia:Citing sources and WP:INLINECITE. I know it's a lot of material so take your time and work through each citation slowly, making sure each one meets WP:VERIFY. The ultimate goal is building a case for notability with your citations. --Non-Dropframe talk 16:45, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

16:20:05, 23 July 2015 review of submission by Rjayapalan

Thanks for reviewing the page and I appreciate your comments. Meanwhile I am eager to in what other way can I create a company page for my own company? As far as I know I have listed only the things what my company does from the official website that has been legally verified. Also I did see to that only features/ specifications of the products and services rather than benefits which would sound like promotional content. Kindly let me know. Thanks Rjayapalan (talk) 16:20, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Rjayapalan (talk) 16:20, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Rjayapalan, WP:SPAM describes what sort of content counts as promotional material. That being said, my major concern is that you have a conflict of interest as you clearly have a direct relationship to the company in question. COI editing on Wikipedia is strongly discouraged. --Non-Dropframe talk 16:30, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The last person reviewing my article has said that it is autobiographical so has been deleted. IT IS NOT. I am not Sreenanda Shankar. I am using the username because it makes sense when creating a page for her. I am her manager.
