Suniti Solomon was a Indian Physician who did Pioneering work in India about AIDS and detected the first AIDS case in India in Chennai in 1985.She founded the Y R Gaitonde Centre for AIDS Research and Education in Chennai.The Indian government conferred the National Women Bio-scientist Award to her.[1][2][3][4]
