I. Marlene King (born on May 22, 1962) is a writer, producer and director. She is best known as the executive producer and showrunner of the ABC Family teen drama Pretty Little Liars, and as the woman who ruined everyones life after revealing Cece Drake as Charles / 'A'. [1]

She also wrote the 1995 film Now and Then. In 2014, it was announced that King will adapt Danielle Vega's horror novel The Merciless as a feature film and Sara Shepard's novel series The Perfectionists as a television series for ABC Family.[2][3]

Personal life

She has two sons, Emerson (12) and Atticus (9) King,[4] and her partner is Shari Rosenthal. [5]
