Launched on December 3, 1990, Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland State. Nagaland Post is the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in color and also the first newspaper in North-East India to be published in multi-color pages. The newspaper is the second highest circulated English news daily in the North-Eastern region. It is the only newspaper in the state with authentic ABC certification. As the pioneer news daily of the state, Nagaland Post has set the benchmark for ethical and responsible journalism which is why; it enjoys unparalleled reputation among its readers throughout the state’s eleven districts. The newspaper is also widely circulated in neighboring Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Meghalaya and other states. Nagaland Post is the only newspaper in Nagaland which has been bringing out a weekly supplement (Sunday Post) with the regular issue and no other newspaper in the state does so.
