Okay, so about a week ago, I posted this ugly message on my user page saying that I was abandoning Wikipedia because (a) certain user(s) were being not-so-nice. As far as I can tell that has not changed. However, even though my departure allowed SPUI to implement his browsing plan on WP:NJSCR, he did not complete his implementation, leaving a fair mess. Other users have come in and uglified some of the infoboxes. And as much as I don't particularly enjoy being here at present, it's much harder to see my baby be tortured before my eyes.

I will return on two conditions. In the event the first condition fails, the second one must not.

Condition 1: Everyone must PLAY NICE. That means obey the five pillars, seek consensus, and probably above all, be civil.

However, I am fairly confident that SPUI will not play nice, possibly with the main intention of just driving me off again. (I know that's against assume good faith, and I'm sorry, but it's also true.) That's why I've included a second condition.

Condition 2: Back each other up. I'm sorry if it sounds corny, but Wikipedia is a community, and we should behave like one.

I'll be around over the next week doing some clean-up. After that, I might stay, I might leave again, I might find some middle ground and just back off slightly. I have about 5 other projects to work on outside Wikipedia, and in the week I've been away, my other projects have re-thrived.

Can't we all just get along? -- NORTH talk 03:35, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Leaving/Stressful things

Hello Northenglish, I'm sorry that so many highway related things are stressing you out! It always seems like working in that topic causes a lot of issues, but I hope it doesn't cause you to leave Wikipedia. Consider taking some time away from it, or working on something else; there are many places on Wikipedia where your contributions would be most welcome, and would hopefully not cause you as much stress. Regardless of what you do, I hope things do improve. -- Natalya 15:30, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Welcome back man

I can see how nasty SPUI is. Racoon Fox and I were talking about him. I don't think you got my latest message. The reason I want to keep the CR 676 (MC,NJ) article is because it is something very special to me. It is the street I live on. Otherwise, welcome back!HurricaneCraze32 18:42, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Welcome back

Things are more civil at the naming convention poll. Hopefully once that is done we can move on. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 19:00, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

You have smiles!!

Feel free to talk to me about anything!!!--Chili14 04:05, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

I will be out of town until Wednesday, and quite busy until the 23rd due to me moving and such, but if you want to start a poll, you have my wishes on that as long as the poll stays open until the 20th of August (is that ample enough time?). I think it is best that we get a vote and see what others think on the future of the state route list. Thanks for your comments so far on the issue :) Seicer (talk) (contribs) 04:56, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm impressed with the speed at which these articles are being updated, cleaned up and images being created. We're making tremendous progress on creating, cleaning and improving the New Jersey road articles. Keep up the great work! Alansohn 02:33, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

And since I typed the last thank you, I saw that you craeted the NJ road master list AND cleaned up the disaster at the Palisades Interstate Parkway. Bravo! It's amazing what can happen when we all start working together. Welcome back, hopefully for good. Alansohn 02:41, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

SPUI banning

RacoonFox and I are leaving a note to get SPUI banned, permantly. We've so far come up with 10 reasons.I was hoping you had more. Our 10:

Template:Erased due to inappropriate lines

Come up with some.HurricaneCraze32 20:03, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

I have warned the above user for using personal attacks, and have no interest in this form of action against SPUI. -- NORTH talk 20:15, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
The language part is Racoon's i just copied what he wrote.HurricaneCraze32 20:18, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
I wrote those, now if you have a beef with the author, come after me. I stand with it, too. SPUI's very aggressive and nasty and he's REWARDED. it's people like him that ruin Wikipedia and wiki stuff in general for people, and they jump ship. However, it's not my fault for HurricaneCraze32 not editing our discussion. He said he just cut and paste it. Now, i thought he'd have the maturity and common-sense to do so. I was wrong. Raccoon FoxTalkStalk 22:00, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
That would be nice, but the Arbitration Committee does absolutely NOTHING. The adminstrators act the same way as he does. It's not any use to complain about SPUI's behaviour if the admins act the same way, now is it? Raccoon FoxTalkStalk 22:07, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
I understand, but what can we do? this guy keeps ruining wikipedia for everyone, and he chases them off, or leaves them so frustated, they give up, and that's horrible. Raccoon FoxTalkStalk 22:56, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Sorry for the language, if you dont mind i erased those 10 and left the message there. Here's our new 13 (no curses or innappropriate stuff).

Reason 1- He attacks others if they have a separate idea from his.

Reason 2- He begs to have pages edit-protected so that no one can contribute, if he can't or doesn't want to.

Reason 3-He has several violations of ArbCom. See List of Ontario provincial highways,

Reason 4-He harasses and stalks others, makes up lies.

Reason 5-Puts up false information.

Such as:

He insists on calling the Ontario highways "Provincial Routes", when their LEGAL and official designation are "Kings Highways".The fact is that they were Provincial Highways from 1917 to June 1930.

Reason 6-He keeps nominating EVERY single template and category out there.

Reason 7-He is very rude to most users.

Reason 8-He is very angsty & hides behind the admins.

Reason 9-Doesn't let others contribute.

Reason 10-His user page is filled with innaproppiate things such as "****". It's very rude & vulgar.

Reason 11-He's been banned Fifty-nine times, mainly over Arbitary Violations.

Reason 12-He's forced lots of users to leave Wikipedia.

Reason 13-He's ruined many articles & projects.

I also changed my name just as reminder. (HC32).Mitchazenia 22:58, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for cleaning up your language, but I still disagree with about half of these points, and still don't have any desire to have SPUI banned permanently. -- NORTH talk 03:08, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

Palisades Interstate Parkway exit list

Thanks for fixing my exit list for the Palisades Interstate Parkway. However there's one line that may be misleading:

"Entering/leaving Bear Mountain State Park
Passenger cars only north of this point" The whole road is for Passenger cars only, however, it's the roads that intersect with Palisades Intersate Parkway that are also strictly for Passenger cars as well. Lake Welch Parkway, Seven Lakes Drive, Perkins Memorial Drive, and Long Mountain Parkway(US 6) forbid trucks and commerical traffic too. DanTD 10:58, 15 August 2006 (EST)
