Dr. Mohammed Rahif Hakmi(Template:Lang-ar) is the founder and chairman of Armada Group[2], a conglomerate with interests in investment, construction, real estate, retail, healthcare and hospitality.
Biography
Mohammed Rahif Hakmi [3][4][5] is the founder and chairman of Armada Group and has been approved by Dubai Land Department (RERA - Real Estate Regulatory Agency) as Developer back in 2008.[6][7] In 2006. Dr. Hakmi was elected as a Board Member[8] and then Vice-Chairman of the Syrian Business Council (SBC), Dubai and Northern Emirates. In 2008. He was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Honer of Al-Karamah SC Football Club as a recognition of his support to the club.[9]
Later on in 2012 he has been elected as Chairman of the Board of the Syrian Business council for relief and Development (Template:Lang-ar)
Hakmi conducted a series of researches at University of Salford into numerical, experimental behavior of Sandwich Panels and fire and blast behavior of Composite material. He was made a Research Fellow at the University of Salford in 1999 and had published multiple research articles during his academic career on the following subjects:
- Local buckling of Sandwich Panels.[10][11]
- Local Buckling of Profiled Sandwich Plates.[12]
- Face buckling stress in Sandwich Panels.[13]
- Post-buckling behaviour of foam-filled thin-walled steel beams.[14]
- Fire resistance of composite floor slabs using a model fire test facility[15]

- Numerical Temperature Analysis of Hygroscopic Panels Exposed to Fire.[17]
