::: I think that is a wonderful idea, and I suggest that you do it! I do not think that I will write a 'Unitary Precoding' page in the near future, but I think that is the best way to resolve this issue. On a related note, someone (perhaps Mr Kim) has reverted all my edits of Dec 20. I undid his edits; hopefully he will catch the hint and stop his sockpuppetery. :::: Why do you think this article is intended for self promotion? As [[User:Duzian|Duzian]] indicated, hundreds of papers have used the same terminology (PU$2$RC) and contribute their ideas on it. Please google PU2RC, you may find around 16,200 links which include papers and articles authored by many different authors. Hence, recent PU$2$RC is not a private technology nor a personally proposed idea. I say that I initiated to edit this article first. However, already many associated authors and interesting people have participated in updating contents. I am sure that if there is any content which focus too much on the original version of PU2RC it should be updated or revised. However, I think the broad concept of PU$2$RC used in the many associated papers must be described in this article as other Wikipedia articles. Self-Promotion

This looks to me like an blatant case of Jamessungjin.kim over-promoting something that he is working on. As much as I think Wikipedia needs more articles, it does not need people to copy 3GPP submission and their bookmarks into a Wikipedia article. This article should be cut down to 1/4 the size; Wikipedia is not a technical journal and should not be treated as such. Sanpitch (talk) 02:04, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I find it hard to believe that this article is self-promotion. The quality of the technical explanation simply is not nearly as good as the technical treatment in the cited source. This statement implies that the technical treatment in Wikipedia is insufficient and does not cover the most important aspects of PU2RC. Most of the formulas could be removed by referring to the detailed treatment in Precoding. It would however like to emphasize the importance of PU2RC, which indeed plays a major role for multi-user MIMO in LTE and LTE-Advanced. Duzian (talk) 15:56, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In case you didn't notice, Jamessungjin.kim is almost certainly the first author on the patent listed right at the beginning of the article. There are hundreds or thousands of techniques that are more important to LTE and LTE-Advanced than PURC. Wikipedia is not a place for self-promotion or advertising (see WP:NOTPROMOTION), a place for personal inventions (see WP:FORUM), or a place for bookmarks (see WP:LINKFARM), even if they are links to a some-what useful wireless technique. It appears to me that Mr. Kim is abusing Wikipedia in all these ways; he is certainly using it as a venue for self-promotion. I will be cleaning up the article in the next few days. Sanpitch (talk) 05:07, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Being unexperienced concerning wikipedia, I admit that I did not notice the authors name. It clearly supports your arguments for self-promotion and/or advertising. Here are some suggestions for cleaning up the article: It is not PU2RC that is particularly relevant for MIMO techniques, but unitary precoding (also known as orthogonal beamforming) in general, which is frequently researched and recognized. For example the precoder codebooks for LTE Release 8 are unitary matrices (3GPP TS 36.211). So I could imagine changing the article to Unitary Precoding and mention PU2RC as a special case. I would offer contributing to this new article. In case this article again is not relevant or of sufficient quality, one could include a subsection in Precoding that treats unitary precoding (and mentions PU2RC).
