The Story

Ape Escape Million Monkeys on PlayStation 2 is not about catching apes - this time it's war! To save the day, and the planet, players need to take on a mighty army of angry apes, hell-bent on world domination, and give them the kicking they deserve! Just watch out for familiar faces from past Ape Escape titles and be warned - the monkeys aren't just armed: they're dangerous too! The locations for the monkey invasions takes place in Tokyo and real-life locations & to stop the dark Ape himself... Retceps: D-key.

• Dr. White Monkey + He even more mad and he's the one inside the the giant robot.
• Sumo Yellow Monkey + Sitting in a big black tank and he battles you with it.
• Giant Yellow Monkey
• Lightning Speed-Blue Monkey + He's got two lightning shotguns & his new bike is powered by lightning.
• Agent-Pink Monkey + You battle her and 120 monkeys.
• "Wild" Pink Monkey
• General-Red Monkey + He fight you in hand to hand combat.

Retceps Group

• Retceps: D-key, who's face looks like an eagle (his Official name). Note: He is after Kakeru and Specter in the anime and game, his name has now is now this one as his name backwards is Specter & to not call him Axel anymore because it was a mix up with Axel from Kingdom Hearts 2.
• Scar: Dark-key Who's A Look-A-Like With The Red Pipotron. (He's the tall one out of Retceps gruop). ^
• Claw: Dark-key Who's A Look-A-Like With The Blue Pipotron. (He's the small bat-like one out of Retceps group). ^
• Crush: Dark-key Who's A Look-A-Like With The Yellow Pipotron. (He's the big one out of Retceps group). ^
