Edric is a fictional character in the Dune universe created by Frank Herbert. He is a navigator of the Spacing Guild. In the novel Dune Messiah, Edric participates in the conspiracy to topple the rule of Paul Atreides. By his fellow conspirators he is considered comparatively unintelligent and his presence is only required because it prevents Muad'Dib from seeing the conspirators in his prescience.
