RBLXDev is a non-profit (thus legal) resuscitation (not recreation) of the old (2008 and 2010) RŌBLOX clients. In 2012, a mid-2008 version of the RŌBLOX client had been found abandoned on ROBLOX.com. The client was functional and stable, but a few functions were broken: Play solo and joining games.

Shutdown
In February 2016, RBLXDev was framed as a phishing and the game shut down. The only thing left now is the index page and the forums. But then, on February 29, 2016, the whole site was temporarily shut down.

It was announced 2 days ago that RBLXDev was being revived. RBLXDev is coming back.
