Code Club AB is a video game development company based in Motala, Sweden. They develop the sandbox game Wurm Online and its standalone version, Wurm Unlimited.
History
Although development on their game, Wurm Online, had started in 2003, Code Club AB was officially founded as Mojang Specifications by Rolf Jansson and Markus Persson in 2007.[2] Later in 2007, Markus Persson stopped developing for Wurm Online and left the company. Since Markus Persson preferred to use the name Mojang himself, Rolf Jansson renamed Mojang Specifications to Onetoofree AB. On October 12, 2011, the company was renamed Code Club AB.
In 2011, the company hired their first paid employee, a client developer who has since been responsible for an overhaul of the lighting system. This was later followed by a lead artist being hired by the developer, resulting in a total of two known employees as of July 2011.
