Thorpe Larches is a small village in County Durham in the North East of England. It is situated between Sedgefield and Stockton-on-Tees. There are no streets, just small lanes coming off the A177 road. There are around 20 houses; they are not numbered but instead have names.

Eden Costumes, which hires fancy dress, is the only shop.

Most of the land is private and quiet; it makes for a comfortable home for older people.[citation needed]
