Anima: Gate of Memories is an action RPG game developed by the independent game studio Anima Project, fundend by a Kickstarter campaign and published by Badland Indie. The game is part of the Spanish role-playing game Anima: Beyond Fantasy's francise. The game is built on a proprietary engine. It was released for Microsoft Windows, Linux, PS4 and Xbox One on June 3, 2016.
Anima: Gate of Memories is a third person action RPG. The game is focused on both combat with roleplaying elements and exploration. Despite being story driven, the players are free to explore the world of Gaia and choose the obstacles they want to tackle. This allows each player to visit many diverse places and reach different endings depending on their choices.
The soundtrack is developed by Damian Sanchez and Marc Celma. Sanchez is an award winning music composer, producer, sound designer and audio director of his own music production company based in Valencia, Spain, while Celma is a composer with a career of 15 years in the doom metal band Mentat.[1]

Anima: Gate of Memories received mixed reviews, with some reviewers like Destructoid praising it while others like GameSpew heavily criticizing it. The prasises were especially for the longevity, the environments and the soundtrack, while the critics were especially for the uncooperative camera, the bad tutorials and the voice acting.
