Andrew Duffield is a Liberal Democrat politician and former Liberal Democrat candidate for the Hexham Parliamentary Constituency. He was educated at Plymouth and at St Chad's College, Durham University.

He is a senior manager at University of Newcastle upon Tyne, having previously served in the Royal Navy and as a manager in the National Health Service.

He is a District and County Councillor in Northumberland and has twice stood for Parliament, putting a significant dent into Prime Minister Tony Blair's majority at Sedgefield in 2001.
