Glad you could pop by. I'm '''[[User talk:Redvers|Redvers]]''', one of a [http://en.wikipedia.org/wikistats/EN/TablesWikipediaEN.htm growing band] of people helping make the internet that little bit better by building a [[Free content|free]], [[Openness|collaborative]] [[encyclopedia]] that [[Wikipedia:Introduction|anyone can edit]].

I'm interested in British [[television]] and radio, the [[World War I|Great War]], [[World War II|World War Two]] and contemporary history in the post-war period. My Wikipedia time contains lots of "just" reading the content (there are [[Special:Statistics|over a million]] pages here, all fascinating), much contributing and tons of tiding up and anti-vandalism... both something of a sad hobby in and of themselves. On [[22 March]] [[2006]], 105 people decided to give me the keys to the janitor's cupboard and I am now an [[Wikipedia:Administrators|administrator]] here.
