Anusmriti Sarkar (born 23 October 1990) [1] is an Indian model and film actress [2]. Anusmriti started her modelling career when she was just 17 yrs old. Post her modelling phase she got offered a film called Vankai Fry [3] and that was her debut as an actress in the year 2011.
Early life and background
Anusmriti was born on 23 October 1990 to Animesh Sarkar and Anita Sarkar. Anusmriti started her modelling career when she was just 17 years old.
Career
Anusmriti made her acting debut in the year 2011 with the telugu film Vankai Fry [3].Later that year,She signed a bengali film Bhorer Alo and replaced Riya Sen in this film [2].This film was directed by a National Award winning director Prabhat Roy.
Throughout the early phase of her career, Sarkar did a series of films in both Bengali and Telugu industry. Currently Anusmriti is preparing for her grand debut in the bollywood industry with 4 films which she has already signed [2].
Other Work
Anusmriti has done many ad campaigns like Khadims, BSNL, Tiger biscuit, Reliance SIM card, Marie Biscuit, Chirag Computer,Livon hair serum and many more. Anusmriti also contributes in campaigns which supports a cause to maintain a healthy environment [4].
