Deborah Bial (born 1965) is an education strategist, and founder and president of the Posse Foundation.[1]

Life

She graduated from Brandeis University[2] in 1987 and earned master's and Ed.D. degrees from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is a founding partner of the consulting company, Firefly Education LLC.

Awards

She delivered the 2012 commencement speech at her alma mater, Brandeis University.[4]

On May 25, 2014, Bial received an honorary degree from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.[5]

On May 24, 2015, Bial received an honorary degree from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.[6]
