Magaly Pineda Antonia Tejada
Magaly Pineda Antonia Tejada (full name)was the wife of Rafael ( Fafa ) Taveras , a leader of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM ) and member of the Revolutionary Movement[1]
Magaly began its approach to feminism in the 70s, its 15 years.[2]
His work in the field of education led her to be one of the winners in the awards for Equality and Gender Mainstreaming-Technology (GEM-TECH Awards) in 2014. [2]
She was a feminist and a research professor who died at the age of 73.[1]
In the Dominican Republic, her native country, she will forever be remembered as the “mother of feminism.”[3]
