Biography

In 2006, he had been promoted to black belt by Brazilian black belt Kazeka Muniz.,[1] along with partners Irwin Tieng, Franz von Muhlfeld and Jed Dario, Aguilar organized the Universal Reality Combat Championship or URCC, a mixed martial arts promotions company which makes many claims about its primacy and preeminence, but has yet to contest Shooto, as the longest running mixed martial arts promotion in Asia. It has also declared that it influenced the growth of mma in asia, discounting the fact that promotions in Japan such as Pride Fighting Championships have long before its inception, already spread its influence across Asia. In October 2008, Aguilar opened an MMA university, the B.A.M.F. Mixed Martial Arts School. His MMA gym, located in Parañaque, Philippines, offers programs in mixed martial arts, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, wrestling and boxing.[2]

Court cases

Aguilar was expelled by De La Salle University when he was charged for direct assault on a member of a fraternity, "Domino Lux". The victims survived from the wounds inflicted and recovered enough strength from the beatings to file a case. [3] Years after, Aguilar was involved in a shooting incident in Olive Bar Makati.[4]
