Does anyone know if a V.92 modem connecting to another V.92 modem (not an ISP's service) will yield a connection of 48Kbit/sec.? The last time I dealt with modems, they would only connect at 33.6Kbit/sec. to each other and no more. |

:I expect it would be the same way, you wouldn't get the PCM speed unless one end of the connection was digital. [[User:Phr|Phr]] ([[User talk:Phr|talk]]) 06:50, 17 May 2006 (UTC) |

I would like to know what the comparison between v90 and v92 is= speed differences, etc.
- V.90 is 56Kbit/s downstream and 33.6Kbit/s upstream. V.92 is the same downstream and 48Kbit/s upstream. Zerbey 21:46, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
