Ralf Zumdick (b. May 10, 1958) is a former German football goalkeeper. Today he is assistant coach under Thomas Doll at the Hamburger SV (since 2003). After his career (21 2nd Bundesliga, 282 Bundesliga games and one goal) Zumdick was assistant coach at VfL Bochum from 1995 till 1999. Zumdick is often crieted to be the one who pioneered the penality-taking-goalkeeper when he scored against Andreas Köpke in 1988.
