South Punjab Forest Company (SPFC) is a public sector company established by Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries Department, Government of the Punjab[4] with a mandate to seek private investment on profit sharing basis for raising tree plantation on blank forest land of Punjab Government in six districts of South Punjab. The company aims to stimulate private sector investment alongside public money to reduce deforestation in Punjab and to combine forest conservation with sustainable economic development and conducts seminars from time to time to achieve its objective.[5][6][7][8][9][10]
