The reconstructed thermal bath

Guðrúnarlaug is a thermal bath in Iceland near Sælingsdalur[1]. The name stems from Guðrún Ósvífrsdóttir who was a main character in the Laxdæla saga[2][3] The thermal bath exists at the place described in the saga.

Guðrúnarlaug (literally "Guðrún's pool" in Icelandic) was referenced in the Laxdæla saga as "the Baths of Saelingsdale", a placed visited by Guðrún Ósvífrsdóttir. The text reads:
