Web Developer and current employee at World News Media. My job description does not involve editing wikipedia so I am not a paid editor in that sense, but I do serve the interests of the company I work for.

I have a specific interest in the fair use of wikipedia for business purposes. I do not agree that it should be used as a promotional tool by businesses, neither do I think that it is right for individuals to overtly or covertly demonise companies.

There are considerable ethical implications when you consider that wikipedia is the 5th largest website in the world^[1] and routinely ranks on the front page of search engines.
