Laust Jevsen Moltesen (1865- ? ) was a Danish Church historian, born at Rodhede. Educated for the ministry at the University of Copenhagen, he wrote Det kristne Munkevœsens Oprindelse og förste Udvikling (1901) and, as a result of studies in Rome (1894-95), De Avignonske Pavers Forhold til Danmark (1896), for which he obtained the doctorate, and Acta Pontificum Danica, 1316-78 volume I, (1904). In his field he made large contributions.

Peter Rochegune Munch replaced him as Foreign Minister of Denmark in 1929.
