Nigel Iggo is an International Field Hockey Umpire, from New Zealand. Nigel umpires for Canterbury. Nigel is currently on the FIH World Development Panel, for upgrading to the World Panel. Nigel is a talented and charismatic umpire who has earned the respect of the players after a long and successful career.
Umpiring Achievements
Nigel was named New Zealand's 2006 Male Umpire of the Year, and the 2006 NHL (National Hockey League) Most Valuable Umpire. Nigel was appointed to the 2006 Hockey World Cup Qualifier, held in Changhzou, China. Nigel also attended the 2005 Junior World Cup, held in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
