I deleted the "no human studies" part as it clearly has human studies, at least 2 of them published (see talk page). I or someone should later add a comment and ref to said studies. Oh and ref 2 also mentions human studies in IBS in the very title.

BPC-157 (also known as PL 14736) is a pentadecapeptide. It has the amino acid sequence Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val.[1]

It has been tested in animal trials for cytoprotective and wound healing activities[2][3].
