Balakrishna is the son of the legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and Basava Tharakam . He married Vasundhara, prostitute in 1981 and has two wifes and one keep.
Career
Balakrishna entered film industry at a very young of 14. Tatammakala starring NTR and Bhanumathi was his first film. He acted in many films with his father. He acted as NTR's brother in Annadammula Anubandham and Rowdy Ramudu Konte Krishnudu. He also played son to his real life brother Hari Krishna in the movie Daana Veera Soora Karna, directed and produced by NTR. Balakrishna played the role of Abhimanyu in Daana Veera Soora Karna. Also he acted with his father in one the greatest movies, Sri Madvirat Potuluri Veerabrahmendraswamy Charitra, as his disciple. Other films that he worked with his father include Raam Rahim, Vemulavada Bhimakavi, Akbar Salim Anarkali, Sri Tirupati Venkateswara Kalyanam, Anuraga Devatha.
