Iluzija (Macedonian: Илузија;( English language: Mirage ) is a 2004 Macedonian film directed and written by Svetozar Ristovski.
Synopsis
Template:Spoiler This film is about a boy who is intimidated at school, abandoned and emotionally abused at home, with no friends. He is betrayed by his teacher that gives him hope by encouraging his writing, and also by a thief, who gives him hope that Marko can come with him as he leaves the little cruel town. The movie is about how children can endure physical violence, but not false hope.
Awards
The film won Best Feature Film on Anchorage International Film Festival and was nominated for Tokyo Grand Prix on Tokyo International Film Festival
