Trivia
- The albums Too much is enough (1998) and Verbal Jujitsu (2002) are by another band, a Swedish band apparently also called The Kooks.
- They recorded a cover from Gnarls Barkley hit "Crazy" in a small street in Paris, and also on the Radio 1 Live Lounge.
- The lead singer (Luke Pritchard) is self confessed to be "tone deaf" which he announced to fans on "Friday Night with Jonathan Ross" on June 9th 2006. It was confirmed that he got drunk in the green room of the studio before being interviewed, and as a consequence said he was tone deaf.
- The band refused to be interviewed on Channel 4's Popworld after, in the course of their first interview on the show, Simon Amstell made repeated reference's to Luke's ex-girlfriend, Katie Melua.
