Although significant enough for the New York Times to issue a public statement, as well as being mass-reported in places like the Washington Post and the Associated Press, the incidence of her indiscretions are removed from being noted in Wikipedia entries. Despite dozens upon dozens of people trying to add mention of the event, all mention is culled by the maintainers of her entry. The implication of this is that Twitter happenings involving insensitivity toward certain groups is not noteworthy enough information for Wikipedia. This is reasonable, therefore I removed the allegations of Logan's Twitter indicent involving insensitivity toward women and minorities due to non-noteworthy content. Let me know what you think. I want to make sure the standards and practices of Wikipedia are consistent all across the board in order to make this the best resource on the internet. |
