Nora decides to move to Mexico and have Tom and Lynette send child support money. To stop this, Lynette comes up with the idea of fighting for full custody. Later Nora and Lynnete find each other in a supermarket and start arguing. They hear gunshots and try to escape, but gets caught. The shooter turns out to be [[Carolyn Bigsby]], who is after vengenance for her husband cheating on her (he is the store manager). Later Nora tells Lynette that what she must be thinking now about maybe never seeing her children again is exactly what Lynette is trying to force her into experiencing for the rest of her life, and although Lynette tells her to shut up because Carolyn told them to be quiet, she does not, and Carolyn soon hears them and becomes annoyed. Nora tells her that Lynette is trying to steal her child, and Lynette responds by telling Carolyn that Nora tried to get Tom to cheat on her.
