Zartaj Gul Wazir (Urdu: زرتاج گل وزیر) is a Pakistani politician who has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since August 2018. She is Currently federal minister of Ministry of Climate Change since 05 October 2018.
Early life and education
Wazir hails from North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.[1]
Wazir attended Queen Mary College for her undergraduate studies and then attended National College of Arts for her postgraduate studies.[1]
Political career
She was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan as a candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from NA-191 (Dera Ghazi Khan-III) in Pakistani general election, 2018.[2][3] She received 79,817 votes and defeated Awais Leghari.[4]
