Incarnate has many traditons which are unique to the school. Every homecoming, the four grades compete against each other to gather 'spirit points,' eventually winning the 'spirit stick.' The competitions are: trivia, the Big Sit, Junior vs. Senior Powderpuff game, Freshmen vs. Sophomore Cage Ball game, wall decorating, and dress out points. The Saturday of homecoming, the entire senior class toilet papers every junior's house, and vice-versa. Another tradition is the OBA, or Outstanding Black Acheivers, assembly, which includes speeches, readings, skits, dance, and step. Finally, Senior Sensation is a series of skits in which the senior class makes fun of teachers, school policies, and other humorous subjects. These are just a few of the many fun traditions at Incarnate. |
